First 5K in a while, or ever? Looking for a training program? We’ve got you covered!

FUN|RUNch and Imagining More Foundation have partnered with A Runner’s Mind & Nike to bring you a FREE running program called Learn2Run.

If you want even more fun between now and race day, join me, ARM, and Nike in this 7-week program. It offers sound, in-person training sessions in a friendly community atmosphere. Participants will receive a comprehensive training plan, a warm-up routine, and expert advice to get you across the finish line! 

The kick-off date for the program will be on Sunday, March 24 and we will meet every Sunday after that unitl race day (except Easter weekend, when we will meet on Saturday, March 30).

  • How to Register: Sign up on the Race Website (it’s a free option in the store during checkout)

Plus, if you show up for our Learn2Run sessions at A Runner’s Mind, you’ll get extra goodies.

What’s included? hint: the more you show up, the more you get…

  • Drinks / Snacks at every group run

  • Attend One session: All athletes will receive a participant tee for joining the program; we'll aim to distribute these shirts the first week. 

  • Attend Four sessions: Receive a tank or singlet for race day with the Learn2Run logo. 

  • Attend All Sessions: mystery surprise

  • April 7: Footwear discussion and shoe demo with Nike!!

  • April 14: Nutrition talk and discussion!

  • May 5: The final session where there will be a Cinco de Mayo themed celebration!
